Certificate and scope
A current Air Operator Certificate, valid for the aircraft type and the operation being sold. We check the certificate, not the claim on a website.
Independent audit
Third-party ratings — ARGUS, Wyvern, IS-BAO — reviewed for currency and scope. A rating from three years ago is a historical document, not a status.
Insurance
Hull and liability limits confirmed against the certificate for that tail, with the charter operation named.
Crew experience
Total and on-type hours for the crew rostered on your flight, and recency into the specific airfield where that matters.
Aircraft record
Age, maintenance programme status and recent unscheduled events. An immaculate cabin says nothing about the logbook.
Continuous review
Vetting is re-run per flight, not held on file. Operators change hands, lose staff and let approvals lapse between one January and the next.
An audit rating is not a guarantee.
Independent audits verify that documented processes existed and were followed at the time of audit. They are genuinely valuable and we insist on them. They do not certify any individual flight, and no broker who tells you otherwise is being straight with you.
What we add is per-flight verification, crew and tail specificity, and a willingness to withdraw an option late when something changes. Occasionally that costs us the booking, which is the correct outcome.

Route, dates and passenger count are enough to begin. Two or three verified options come back, each with the operator named.
